O.N.A.O.O. Online Courses
O.N.A.O.O. ONLINE COURSES The online courses are not just a course, but a real experience to take your first steps into the world of the olive oil supply chain and oil tasters, with the support of the expert taster.
You can attend O.N.A.O.O. online courses from the comfort of your own home and they are a total immersion in the magical world of olive oil.
The course lasts about an hour and a half, during which you learn the basic techniques for tasting olive oil, which are essential for getting to know it better, learning how to taste it and distinguishing the characteristics, qualities, and defects of different products.
How does the online course work?
Those who buy the online course have access to a one-on-one lesson with a trainer/professional taster from the National Organization of Olive Oil Tasters.
The school emails a PDF containing the main macro-topics needed for the lesson; while a box containing 8 oil samples, compostable tasting glasses, a pen, and the necessary instructions for the webinar is also sent home.
How To Store The Tasting Box?
Once you receive the box with the oil samples for the tasting session you should store it in the refrigerator. Then, a few hours before the class you should take it out of the refrigerator and leave it at room temperature, away from light and heat sources.
When Does The Class Take Place?
The date and time of the online O.N.A.O.O. course is agreed together with the trainer, and using an online platform, the preparatory lesson on olive oil tasting will then begin.
A certificate of participation will be issued at the end of the session.
